Development of Business Plans
An Individual business owner needed to determine the best short and long term growth strategies for his client base. Janice researched the market drivers and identified both the internal and external forces that would influence the plans’ successful implementation. She then drafted several different options for growth, and after reviewing them with the client, developed the plan to implement the strategic growth. This evolved into an annual process to review and adjust the plan as required.
Transformation of Service Delivery
A Public Sector client wished to redevelop their service model to better meet the needs of their customers. As Lead Analyst on the project team, Janice assessed the needs of the client’s customers, conducted reviews of best practices in on-line service delivery and researched related industry drivers that were setting the direction and pace of change with the client’s customers.
This formed the basis for several models to address the human capital, business process, systems and project resources necessary to accomplish the transformation and in turn, for the business case to support the recommended model. Client agreed with the recommendation and embarked on a three year project to deliver its promise.
Technology Replacement Strategy
While running the technology group for a mid-sized, investment firm, Janice led several projects to support the strategic expansion of service offerings, enabling them to more than double in administrative capacity over a four year period. Specific projects included strategic network redesign and replacement, development and support of website, development of a workflow tool, development of an in-house trust system and repatriation of the administration system.
